FRESH 2023 – International Event for the Development of Contemporary Circus and Outdoor Arts
It’s a special edition this year in Paris, to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the network!
September 20 – 22, 2023.
The event is co-organised by Circostrada Network and ARTCENA in partnership with key partners, listed below. This exciting “rendez-vous” will bring together contemporary circus and outdoor arts players, artists, programmers, journalists, researchers, and policy-makers for three days of vibrant debates and exchanges.
Articulture have support from Wales Arts International to take a small delegation from Wales to participate in this event, which takes place in a series of venues across the capital and in the suburbs. Support covers up to a maximum of £940 for receipted travel, accommodation and food costs.
It is an opportunity to network with Circostrada’s members across Europe and further afield. There will be talks, performances, tours and time to connect.
A typical day will include a conference-style event in the morning, a 2-hour networking lunch, venue and performance visits in the afternoon and socialising / performance in the evening.

We don’t know how quickly places will be taken at the event, so please contact us by 5pm on May 14th to express your interest.
Please note that creatives who join us must live in Wales and either work in, or have a strong connection to, outdoor arts. All attendees will need to produce either a written, video or audio blog about the visit by the end of September.
