New tour! See new outdoor arts in Wales this Summer

By 16th July 2021Uncategorised

Articulture and the Wales Outdoor Arts Consortium are thrilled to announce the start of a 25 date tour for three new outdoor arts works that have been created this Summer.

‘Qwerin’ by Osian Meilir takes inspiration from Queer club culture and the weaving, flowing patterns of folk dance – a Welsh folk dance with a twist.

‘Bring me Sunshine’ combines circus, storytelling and a dash of the absurd by Splatch Arts with Leyton John – a playful and heartfelt account of Leyton’s experiences of living with multiple sclerosis, and a reminder that when we listen with curiosity and compassion we see past our own limitations.

‘Afanc’ invites us to follow a feral but beautiful beast on an adventure to a waters source and an urgent environmental tale, told through contemporary clowning, captivating visuals and startling soundscapes by f.a.b. – The Detonators – Tiago Gambogi & Maggi Swallow.
