Based in rural North Wales, Madame Ceski (Francesca Simmons) creates playful, participatory outdoor experiences that bring together sound, movement and connection with the natural world.
Her current project, Breathing, is an immersive outdoor sound parade where participants wear specially designed instruments that create sound through movement and breath. Together, audiences become both performers and listeners, creating a whimsical collective experience that encourages people to slow down, tune in and reconnect with their environment.
Through Tyfu a Rhannu, Madame Ceski is exploring how the work can become accessible and tour-ready while maintaining its playful, environmentally conscious spirit.
CRABFISH
What happens when citizen science, ecology, electronic music and dancing crayfish collide?
CRABFISH is a Mid Wales collective of artists, musicians, performers and ecologists developing an interactive outdoor performance inspired by water quality and biodiversity. Audiences are invited to test water, join the action and watch giant crayfish respond through music, movement and surreal humour.
Through Tyfu a Rhannu, CRABFISH is exploring how art can inspire curiosity, participation and environmental action.

Cardiff-based circus artist and creator Vilhelmiina Sinervo is bringing her art of rope balancing and outdoor performance from Finland to Wales.
With her company Vilus.art, Vilhelmiina creates unexpected performances into public spaces, transforming everyday moments to something magical through balanced movement, clowning, dance and acrobatic encounters.
Originally from Finland, Vilhelmiina is beginning a new chapter in Wales through the Tyfu a Rhannu programme, exploring audience connection, structural improvisation and the joy of shared curiosity.

Pea Pea La Plume is a glorious outdoor street show featuring a drag queen peacock robot, clowning, robotics, queer joy and plenty of audience participation.
Created by Natasha McGhie, the project transforms public spaces into playful celebrations of creativity, technology and self-expression. Through Tyfu a Rhannu, Spare Parts Co is developing the show for future outdoor touring and festival presentation.
Humans Move is a professional disability-led inclusive dance company.
Their current work, Imaginary Lines, explores the invisible borders that separate us and what becomes possible when those boundaries dissolve. Combining contemporary dance, physical theatre and lived experience, the piece celebrates friendship, connection and shared humanity.
Through Tyfu a Rhannu, Humans Move is developing touring opportunities, accessibility and audience engagement as they continue to bring inclusive dance to festivals and outdoor spaces across Wales and beyond.
