Live Workshop and Audio Practice with Simon Whitehead – 8 + 22 September

An opportunity for movement artists to step out and explore their local landscapes with ‘Going Home…Home is always going’ – a live workshop and audio practice with leading artist Simon Whitehead – in collaboration with Groundwork and Articulture.

Simon invites exploration of scores and frameworks for working both in situ and remotely with others.

A drift and compositional exercise created by Simon to explore your locality, with an opportunity to share your reflections – writing, recordings, drawings.

This Groundwork and Articulture collaboration bringing together two current initiatives for creative inspiration during lockdown – Groundwork’s Live Physical Practice, and Articulture’s Outdoor Arts Creative Zooms.

Outdoor Arts UK – Covid 19 Resources & Databases
Whilst Welsh Government starts trialing outdoor events from this week, ahead of releasing further guidelines for arts and culture in Wales, Articulture recommends OAUK’s comprehensive directory of resources, including risk assessments and database for ‘Bookable Shows’.

Opportunity – International networking – FiraTàrrega

Looking to network and pitch ideas internationally? This year FiraTàrrega – International outdoor arts festival – makes its renowned professional meeting place digital and long-term.

Called ‘La Llotja Online’ it will be a platform for information, meeting and communication for outdoor arts professionals across the world. It kicks off 9/10th September with two days of online pitching and events. Registration will then be valid until summer 2021, allowing you to continue networking, sharing projects, and participating in further events.
