New international festival bursaries + Summer sessions begin!

Spring has sprung! Read on for news of Articulture’s upcoming series of Outdoor Arts Summer Sessions at key events across Wales starting in May, as well as new bursaries to visit the renowned Greenwich & Docklands International Festival and Outdoor Arts UK Hub in June.

Summer Session #1  –

Why create or programme Outdoor Arts in Welsh?

Sunday 5 May, Machynlleth Comedy Festival, 10.30am – 12pm. 

You are invited to the first of Articulture’s Summer Sessions, networking and discussion events with leading outdoor arts practitioners exploring topical questions, at key events across Wales.

Sioned Edwards, Assistant Artistic Director for the National Eisteddfod, Cêt Haf, Performer, and Jeremy Turner, Director of Arad Goch Theatre Company, discuss their experiences of programming and creating work for the outdoors in the Welsh language. All over a coffee and pastries!

Bursaries – Greenwich & Docklands International Festival 2019

Friday 21 – Sunday 23 June, London

Bursaries are available for Wales based artists and arts organisations interested in or working in outdoor arts, to see new work, network, and attend professional sessions at leading outdoor arts event the Greenwich & Docklands International Festival.

This also includes the opportunity to take part in the GDIF Festival Hub, hosted by Outdoor Arts UK, with a packed programme of professional networking and development activities.
