“Howl” is a magical story about a woman who becomes a werewolf when she least expects it. This gets her into all sorts of interesting situations and plenty of trouble! Without warning she becomes an extremely powerful, ferocious and cunning creature, who inspires fear and awe in almost everyone it comes across. But once she learns to control her wolf-self she realises she can use it to hers and others’ advantage, although she will never get used to having such hairy arms!
Circus and theatre performer Claire Crook takes us on a powerful and sometimes silly journey celebrating female power, magic, fantasy and the ability to overcome adversity. An interactive story that celebrates the power to turn a disadvantage into an advantage, combining aerial and physical theatre with dance and a bespoke soundtrack. It is a moving and funny aerial theatre performance that gets the whole audience howling!
Howl is presented in the Welsh Language.
