  • 0

Are you a Wales based creative looking to make and showcase new outdoor work in the Welsh language this year?

Articulture, in collaboration with The National Eisteddfod of Wales, the Machynlleth Comedy Festival and Celtic Neighbours are offering an opportunity to create a new piece of outdoor work in the medium of Welsh.

As well as support to create work, the creative selected will also receive mentoring and the opportunity to showcase the work at the Eisteddfod and Comedy Festival.

The Work in the Welsh Language commission is one of series of pilot strategic commissions in 2019 with the aim of growing the diversity of artists, programmers and audiences in Wales engaged in outdoor work. Others include collaborations with creatives from the BAME (Black, Asian or Minority Ethnic), and Disabled communities.

Artists applying to one of the strategic commissions are also welcome to apply to the Wales Outdoor Arts Consortium.
