Hit the Swansea streets this weekend for Taliesin’s Dance Days starting a season of exciting events showcasing extraordinary outdoor arts across Wales.

Join ‘The Hunt for the Twrch Trwyth‘ (pictured above) and catch other new outdoor art works commissioned by Articulture, the Wales Outdoor Arts Consortium, and other partners, at a host of exciting events –

Summer Session #2 – How do we create & programme more Outdoor Arts in Welsh?

Saturday 3rd August, 12:00 – 2:00pm @ AGORA, National Eisteddfod of Wales, Llanrwst.

Join leading Wales based arts practitioners Elen ap Robert, Marc Rees, Eddie Ladd, and members of the artistic Eisteddfod team, in a creative conversation looking at how we can create and programme innovative, high quality Outdoor Arts in Welsh in Wales.

Taking place in the ‘AGORA’ an ambitious public art piece and temporary building commissioned by the Eisteddfod (supported by Visit Wales) and created by Marc Rees in collaboration with Jenny Hall and Tabitha Pope, produced by Iwan Willams (ffiwsar). The conversation will also include a light lunch and Pimms at the neighbouring Caffi’r Theatrau.

@ Green Man Festival

Sunday 18th August, 11.00am – 1pm @ Green Man Festival, Crickhowell, Powys.

Going to Green Man Festival this year? Join Outdoor Arts UK as they team up with Articulture and Green Man to host the Wales leg of the Outdoor Arts UK annual Summer tour.

The event includes a chance to learn more about the host festival, information about the work of Outdoor Arts UK, and a lively open space style discussion around a topical issue affecting the sector. It will begin with short introductions, so you can expand your contact list and put a few faces to names, and its an opportunity to share information, news and ideas with fellow producers, programmers and artists.
