ARTICULTURE

Sefydliad creadigol yw Articulture sy'n bwriadu dod â gweithwyr ynghyd i gefnogi y cynhyrchiad o gelfyddydau awyr agored arloesol, o safon uchel sy'n unigryw i Gymru.

Ar gyfer Articulture - 'Celfyddydau Awyr Agored' -

-Cwmpasu celfyddydau (o unrhyw ffurf a chyfuniad) na chyfyngir i neu’n ddibynnol ar adeilad celfyddydol dynodedig;

-Ymgorffori gweithiau a all fodoli neu gymryd lle mewn lleoedd awyr agored lluosog, neu leoliadau gyda safle penodol;

-Gall fod yn barhaol, ond prif ffocws Articulture yw ar y profiad celfyddydol symudol, byrhoedlog neu a gyfyngir gan amser a rennir.

Rydym yn gyfuniad o bedwar gweithiwr ffrilans yn y celfyddydau wedi ein hariannu fesul prosiect, yn gweithio gydag ystod o gydweithwyr a chyfranwyr. Rydym yn breuddwydio, creu, a rheoli o amgylch ein byrddau cegin, yn ogystal ag ar y ddaear ac ar draws Cymru a thu hwnt.

Mae ein gwaith wedi ei ysgogi gan y gred bod gan y celfyddydau awyr agored y gallu unigryw a phwerus i annog cyfranogiad helaeth ar wasgar a phartneriaethau buddiol ar y cyd ar draws sectorau o gymdeithas, sydd yn helpu datblygu cymunedau mwy cynaliadwy yng Nghymru.

Yn ein hysbrydoli, mae cyfnod newydd a chyffrous o waith awyr agored Cymraeg yn cael ei ddatblygu ar hyn o bryd, gyda digwyddiadau rhwydwaith megis Cynhadledd Awyr Agored yn 2012 gan Articulture, a gwaith torri tir newydd gan sefydliadau megis NoFit State Circus, Pontio a National Theatre Wales.

Drwy ddigwyddiadau ar raddfa fechan, cefnogaeth nawdd a chomisiynau, yn gweithio'n uniongyrchol gyda gweithwyr wedi eu selio yma yng Nghymru, swyddogion datblygu, arianwyr, lleoliadau, gwyliau, a busnesau, bwriad Articulture yw hau hadau a generadu gofod ar gyfer cysylltiadau newydd, trafodaethau a meithrin syniadau.

ARTICULTURE

Articulture is a creative organisation that aims to bring together practitioners to support the production of innovative, high quality outdoor arts unique to Wales.

For Articulture - 'Outdoor Arts' -

-Encompasses arts (of any form and combination) that are not confined to or dependent upon a designated art building;

-Incorporates works that can exist or take place in a multitude of outdoor spaces, or site specific venues;

-Can be permanent, but Articulture's primary focus is on the mobile, transitory, or time-limited shared art experience.

We are a project-funded collective of four freelance arts practitioners, working with a range of collaborators and contributors. We dream, create, and manage around our kitchen tables, as well as on the ground across Wales and beyond.

Our work is motivated by the belief that outdoor arts has a unique and powerful ability to encourage wide spread participation and mutually beneficial partnerships across all sectors of society, that help develop more sustainable communities in Wales.

Inspiring us is a new and exciting era of Welsh outdoor work currently developing, with networking events such as Articulture’s The Great Outdoors Conference in 2012, and ground breaking work from organisations such as NoFit State Circus, Pontio and National Theatre Wales.

Through small scale events, funding support and commissions, working directly with Wales based arts practitioners, development officers, funders, venues, festivals, and businesses, Articulture aims to sow seeds and generate space for new connections, conversations and nurturing of ideas.

Powys Arts Month 2014

Articulture was commissioned by Powys Arts Forum (PAM) to produce Powys Arts Month in May 2014. PAM is a county-wide celebration of the dynamic arts activity that encompasses all art forms. It offers artists in all fields the opportunity to highlight their skills and works through performances, workshops and open studios, drawing attention to the significant range of professional artists working in Powys.

As part of PAM, Articulture worked with Powys Arts Forum to commission three outdoor site specific art works with leading Powys arts organisations, working with Wales based artists:

• Hay Festival of Literature & the Arts/Nicky Arscott - The Maypole Project: A Meeting Place @Hay Festival
• Oriel Davies Gallery/ Kitsch n Sync Collective -Topiary Traumas
