Interested in the creation of live art outdoors in Wales and beyond?

Join other outdoor art practitioners, funders, festivals, land managers and venues to network, share ideas and forge new projects and partnerships.

Five years on from Wales’ first gathering, come and celebrate a vibrant and growing movement.
Together we can …

  • Get inspired by extraordinary work, talks, and workshops
  • Feast in an old Coliseum Theatre,
  • Pitch in to collaboratively plan the future
  • Get out into the great outdoors of Wales’ castles, mountains and beaches!

Practitioners from all art forms are welcome, including street theatre, carnival, procession, puppetry, circus and arts installation.

The Gathering is presented by Articulture in partnership with a team of people and organisations passionate about live art outdoors, including the Arts Council of Wales, Independent Street Arts Network, National Theatre Wales, Migrations, Natural Resources Wales, NoFit State Circus, Citrus Arts, Cadw, Taliesin Arts Centre, The Riverfront, Arad Goch, Irish Street Arts, Circus and Spectacle Network and Visit Wales.

Call for outdoor arts commissions 2018

Commissions and touring opportunities for new outdoor work in 2018.

Articulture, in collaboration with a consortium of leading arts organisations, invites artists and arts companies based in Wales from any discipline to request support for the creation and delivery of new outdoor work for presentation and touring to up to seven locations in 2018.
